Mr. Prakrit Khanteekun, an aspiring professional in the field of painting inspection, recently shared his journey through the BGAS Painting Inspector Grade 2 course, part of the SEASEP programme.
Prakrit had been interested in the BGAS-CSWIP Painting Inspector Grade 2 certification for some time. Learning about the SEASEP programme’s support, including subsidies and the opportunity to attend the IOSH Working Safely course, motivated him to enrol. “I believed the programme would provide an excellent opportunity to enhance my skills and knowledge in painting inspection,” he explained.
The course proved to be a transformative experience, significantly improving both the theoretical and practical aspects of his work. “The training expanded my understanding of painting inspection, allowing me to work more efficiently and effectively,” Prakrit shared.
Earning the BGAS Painting Inspector Grade 2 certification has also had a profound impact on his career prospects. “Passing the exam and receiving the certificate has increased my chances of employment, as I am now a certified inspector,” he said.
Safety is another area where the course has made a meaningful difference. Prakrit emphasized the value of the IOSH Working Safely training, which provided critical safety knowledge often overlooked in typical workplace briefings. “The course gave me a deeper understanding of working safely and introduced essential safety concepts that are rarely addressed elsewhere,” he noted.
Looking ahead, Prakrit is eager to continue advancing in his career. He plans to pursue the CSWIP Welding Quality Control Coordinator course to further his professional growth. “I am confident that earning this certification will be highly beneficial for my career advancement,” he added.
Prakrit recommends TWI’s comprehensive training programmes to anyone seeking to enhance their skills and career opportunities in the inspection and safety fields. “The knowledge and certifications gained are invaluable for both personal and professional growth,” he concluded.
